THIS week's Top Ten has been compiled by local teeanger Edward Manson, who has spent the last week on work experience in the Ballymena Times.
A frustrated former guitar player, Ed lists artists such as The Beatles, Oasis and Journey as his major musical influences.
My Top 10
1. Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles - This was the first Beatles song I heard and from that moment I was instantly hooked with the band. Straight after I heard it I went out and bought some of their albums and still frequently listen to them. In my own opinion this particular song is one of their most underrated, yet one of their best.
2. Teddy Picker - The Arctic Monkeys - This is one of the artists more recent songs and is off their album Favourite Worst Nightmare. At the moment this is one of my favourite songs as it is fast paced and has the unique stylings of the Arctic Monkeys.
3. Champagne Supernova - Oasis - I never really liked Oasis until a few years ago and this song in particular changed my mind. In the past 10 years Oasis have simply became one of the best bands and have influeneced many others.
4. Beg, Steal or Borrow - Babyshambles - I first heard this song on the Jonathan Ross Show, where Pete Doherty perfromed this song live by himself. The song's lyrcis really appeal to me, as they are very different and unusual and make it one of my all time favourites.
5. Country House - Blur - Blur aren't one of my favourite bands as I prefer Oasis more, but this is an outstanding song. I was first introduced to this song by a friend and featured in their album The Great Escape. This is one of the few songs that have been on every one of by MP3 players.
6. Bang Bang your Dead - The Dirty Pretty Things - This band is made up of the members who left The Libertines. I heard this song on MTV2, and I went straight out and bought their album. I've always liked Indie and Punk music and, in my opinion, this is one of the best songs that have come out of these genres.
7. Closer - Joshua Raiden - The first time I heard this guy was on an episode of my favourite TV show Scrubs. It's a little different to the music i would normally listen to as it is more mellow but his lyrics are outstanding and every song is simply brillliant, but this, I believe, is his best.
8. D.A.N.C.E - Justice - A more recent song and again it's a different type of music than what I would normally listen to as it's more dance/pop, but its a really catchy tune. I first heard it on TV (again MTV2) and the video used, made the song stand out for me.
9. Don't Stop Believing - Journey - This song was out before I was born but is still as good and as catchy now as I'm sure it was then. I first heard this song on the radio quite a few years ago but recently the video was shown on TV which made me want to listen to it all over again. An all time classic song.
10. Don't Look Back Into the Sun - The Libertines - I was never a fan of this band due to the bad reputation of Pete Doherty but recently I really got hooked to them due to this song and The Dirty Pretty Things. It's a great song and again the unique lyics Pete Doherty comes up with are outstanding.
