DON'T feed the baby dinosaurs - the notice reads in Ballymena's popular cafe Solomon Grundy's...Watch video here...
All through the months of July and August the Wellington Street cafe is home to a whole collection of dinosaurs including two little ones which can walk around and even roar.

Proprietor of Solomon's Jack Hutchinson explained his novel idea: "I like to surf the internet to find out new ideas about how to keep customers entertained, and I came across these dinosaurs. So I decided to give them a home here at Solomon's.

"We have had a great response to them already, some of the children were a little scared, but most of them wanted to play with the two baby dinosaurs which can walk and make noises."

Jack addeed: "I think it's a great way of distracting kids who can maybe get a little restless in a cafe.

"Here at Solomon Grundy's we cater for families and we do our best to make the cafe as child-friendly as possible."

With the baby dinosaurs confined to their fenced enclosure, there is no danger of the customer making it onto the menu at Solomon Grundy's.
