Dr Anila Bali from the Old Park Road in Ballymena gave an Indian cookery demonstration in Montgomery's last week. View video here...
Dr Bali, a former lecturer in history and a financial advisor also signed copies of her new book Mom's Cooking and More Inidan Style last Friday morning.

In the foreword to her book, Dr Anila states that it was writing recipes for her friends and a passion for Indian culture which inspired her to write the book.

She writes: "This is not a perfect book with perfect recipes. It is a book of home cooked wholesome food, easy to make, cost effective and time efficient. I have included variations and steps in some of the recipes to convert them into party dishes with minimum effort.

"I hope my readers will enjoy reading and learning these recipes as much as I have done writing them."
