PAUL Bradley has been appointed as the new pastor of Ballykeel Pentecostal Church (AGI*) Ballymena.
Last Sunday evening, members of the church had a special joint service. This was organised firstly, to celebrate the 23-year legacy of the retiring minister, Pastor Derrick McCourt followed by an induction service for Paul as he embarks on the new senior leadership role.
Since returning to his native Northern Ireland from Bible College in Portland, Oregon in 1979 Paul has worked as an executive with an international oil company and more recently proprietor of his own retail business. For the past few years Paul has been involved in a church-planting project in the Republic of Ireland.
Thanks to strategic alliances between USA and Irish evangelical churches, two new pioneer churches have been successfully established in Navan & Ballina.
Paul and his wife Caroline have been married for 27 years and together with their three sons have been attending Christian Fellowship Church, Strandtown, Belfast. Caroline is the Regional Manager for Tearfund, a Christian relief and development charity bringing justice and transforming lives while helping overcome global poverty.
Paul says: "If you are looking for a fresh expression of a multi-generational church then Ballykeel Pentecostal might just be the place for you. We are devoted followers of Jesus dedicated to living life as His disciples by connecting others to do the same. This is an exciting time of change, so please come along and check us out, you will be made to feel most welcome."
The main times Ballykeel Pentecostal Church meet are: Sunday Celebration services @ 11am & 6.30pm; Youth event Sunday @ 8.15pm; Wednesday evenings @ 7.30pm for ACTION (acronym for All Church Teaching In One Night)
