A motorist detected travelling at speeds in excess of 92mph on the Moneymore-Cookstown dual carriageway, was fined £215.
Adrian Sean Martin (49), of Waterfoot Road, Magherafelt, also received three penalty points for the offence which was detected by police on the evening of February 7.
A defence solicitor, who handed in a letter and two references, said Martin had taken the matter very seriously and had undertaken an advanced driving course.
