He’s been on the run for months from Ballymena but it appears that ‘Rab the Raccoon’ has finally been caught after police captured a raccoon in Ballycastle.
PSNI Wildlife Officer Marianne Breen said: “Police captured a raccoon in Ballycastle earlier today after a member of the public called to say that she had spotted the animal in her car port.”
‘Rab’ became an internet sensation back in September after a local resident submitted a video of the elusive raccoon rummaging on their garage roof.
