The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) in Londonderry say they have arrested a man for driving a vehicle that was in a dangerous condition.
A PSNI spokesperson said that the 32-year-old was also arrested for careless driving, defective tyres and no insurance due to vehicle modification.
The car in which the man had been driving was also seized.
A PSNI spokesperson said that the driver was later released from custody on police bail pending further enquiries.
He was arrested after officers saw a car leaving a store car park in the Strand Road area of the city on Friday (August 17) with its tyres spinning.
