At their September meeting, the members of Ballymoney Soroptimists Club heard about the work of HEADWAYS - the Brain Injury Association - fromn their invited guest Johnny Turnbull.
It was no surprise, therefore, that proceeds from the Club’s annual table quiz were donated to HEADWAYS and other local charities.
A great crowd gathered at Ballymoney Rugby Club and, with Maurice McHenry and his wife Marie in charge of questions and Philip McGavock on sound, a great night’s entertainment was had by all.
An excellent supper was provided by the ladies of the Ballymoney Soroptimist Club. Raffle prizes were all donated by the Soroptimists.
